14 years ago we decided to do something fun - a work shop was set up behind the house in the garage - and Groovstar Boardwear began designing and producing a range of snowboard outerwear for New Zealand conditions. you should know that winters in New Zealand can be extremely cold and wet, so product testing is crucial - the fun part is we get to product test our garments on our beautiful New Zealand mountains. Now we supply globally, producing off shore - most importantly still designing and running the show from our small home surf town of Whangamata. We hope our garments help you enjoy your life style.
