Lately i have been working like a demon up at cardies. Crushing soles on the learners slope but making that infamous CASH MONEY. Did the quick trip across the valley for a little night session at Snow Park with the boys. Now that the school holidays are done and dusted it back to business, hitting the jumps and jibs up Cardrona. So check out the photos. PEACE

Rhys Boberg missioned it from kune to mt hutt the other week, now this is dedication! Cheers to rodger and the crew at zerofm for the vid. - 22 June 2009
Hay guys whats cracking ? Ho, was da baddest trip g,we drove 2400 kms to ride hut for 2 days. hahahha we are mad, but we totally scored it!!!!! Saturday was real fast snow and no one around so got back to the future like every run. I started to call my board delorian. Then some mad bugger decided we should ask Mt Hutt management if we can stay in there car-park overnight, with a snow storm ,and well below freezing temps expected.
kinda made sense tho because it took us so freekin long to haul that mobile palace up the hill. It was at about 2am that the central heating had run out (because we where to stoopid to refill the gas bottle) and we realized that it was aprox minus 20 degrees INSIDE the camper. Some joker who arrived in the car park at about 830am in a fancy porsche 4x4 said his thermometer was reading an out side temp of -12 , and it was sunny then. so once we defrosted the kettle which was completely frozen with water from the night before and opened the curtains to reveal at least an inch of ice on the inside of the curtains, and about 15 cms of the light fluffy-stuff! we started to get ready for first chair quick smart.Once we made first chair it was ON! mt hutt has an amazing 6 seater chair that literary takes you to the top of the mt! Amazing! So we road all day until our legs turned to jelly. It was an amazing day!!!! So all of us where totally knackered and really not looking forward to the long drive home. real long that is. Try riding at turoa then driving home only to realize you left your life or death aids pills there and then drive back down and then home again all in one hit. By this stage everyone was getting cranky and ready to rip each others head off. kinda funny tho. all in all was well worth it, nothing like a mish to score the goods!!! cant wait to jump back on a plane and get back there. the place was really amazing , rodger filmed bunch of footage.
Check it out… sweet….

Anthony Crute Tribute Video - 12 May 2009
On a sad note, the sudden passing of long time team rider Anthony Crute, in Whistler early this year has rocked the Groovstar crew. Anthony's links to New Zealand and Queenstown were fostered in his early years of snowboarding prior to founding his business Pro Ride Snowboard Camps 11 years ago. His vision was to create a flexible, fun, training camp where snowboarders from all over the world could come together to ride the best Whistler had to offer with top level world class riders. Pro Ride has helped many kiwi's to enjoy and make the most out of there riding experiences. Ants' was one of the hardest working and most passionate people in the industry and he will be dearly missed by all. Much love goes to his wife Karen and there beautiful daughter Baylee, RIP bro
